Who's getting one?

Apparently AMG isn't focusing on BS for a while, so 2019 sounds about right.

I ordered a GT S in designo selenite grey magno With night package, 19" wheels in the front and 20" in the back and nut brown racing seats.
I am picking up the car i Stuttgart around the 1. of juli this summer.
I was in Stuttgart to pick up a new C250 Bluetec 4Matic AMG wagon, (which is brilliant) 2 weeks ago and we also went to AMG in Affalterbach on tuesday 24. of february for a factory tour.
It was AMG GT's all over the place with and without camouflage and it just look so good when you see it on the road. Much better than the 911 (and I have had several 911 incl a 997 GT3) so I think I am not that biased

I'll definitely get one. Will wait to see what the initial depreciation is like to see if I'd go with a new or used one. Will look great in the garage next to my 928.

I am seriously looking at ordering one but I'm new to the Mercedes world. I've been a BMW and Porsche guy but this car is impressive for the money. A question for the long term Mercedes guys, I read in one of the posts about bad depreciation on Mercedes. Spending this type of money for a vehicle and to have it drop in value drastically would be a bit disconcerting.
Is that normal for Mercedes or was that an off comment I read?
Thanks.

Well, huge depreciation seems to be common on modern Mercedes cars, with the exception of the G wagon.
I'm planning to wait a few years and see how the depreciation will be before deciding to either order a new one or purchase one secondhand. I will likely end up buying them continuously to use as my daily driver, and probably wouldn't keep them for a long time. I will probably end up buying low mileage CPO cars, drive them for a few months, sell them on eBay, and purchase a newer model.

There are a few threads in this section I started with pics and videos. I have had the car a couple weeks already. I love it and the Weistec transformation proceas has already begun. Yes, I still have both the CLK BS and C BS, I sold the SLS BS a few weeks ago.
