Hi there - I'm about to put an order in for a GTS for delivery in Feb '16. I've looked through the options and can't see any ambient lighting features in either the standard features or optional extras.

It's not a big thing, but I have to say that I love the ambient glow at night in my CLS63 and like the latest S class interior lighting even more.

Online interior pics taken at night are very thin on the ground, so can anybody who owns at GT describe what the interior lighting is like when then sun goes down?

Dark.

Quite frankly, this is one of the more disappointing aspects of the car. Most of the interior lighting is old-skool amber.

Ambient lighting wise, the GT has the following:

- a single amber led on the base of the rear view mirror (which does very little).

- a more modern whiter led strip on each side of the centre console (under where you see the silver trim indent on each side).

And that.....is it.
