I took it down to a shop in Houston, because I thought they were more reputable, but should have just stayed with one of the two shops in town.
That said, I absolutely love the product, and could not have replicated the visual depth with vinyl, no matter what I'd done.
Thank you for the info. Think I'm going to try Autoflex Nogaro Blue on my old S2000 first to see how I like it. My GTS has Xpel front end protection. Hope it's not a PITA to get that removed.
@Bish Thanks! The track is called Area 27, its located in Oliver, British Columbia. For the video, I use an app called RaceChrono and I pair my phone with an external GPS so it's more accurate.
@jn66 I went with a club called VCMC, I wish I was a member!

Right on.
I know Speed Fanatics sometimes books it out as well as Turn2 Lapping out of Washington.
The Turn2 even was actually the day before the one I went to. They were greeted with a damp track and we had good weather but a green track the day after.PM me if you want to add me to Instagram or something. Maybe we can arrange to be on the same track day next season. It'd be nice to have more than one GT out there in a sea of 911's.
Wow thats gorgeous. Was that through the PTS/Designo program? Did you get some custom interior stitching options as well?
Yes, I had to go through the Designo program which added around 8 weeks to the production schedule. They would not let me change the brake calliper color, so I stuck with the yellow stitching on the interior which matches the carbon ceramic callipers.

Ah thats great - good to see someone take advantage of designo.
Mind sharing which shop you used and if you'd recommend them?
I used Floodwater Customs, and I would wholeheartedly NOT recommend them.
They marred my passenger side window by running a razor blade on it to remove the masking paper, along with my windshield. Thankfully my windshield had windshield protection film so they cut through that, but the glass was ok. They also failed to properly secure my front splitter, and left 2 bolts rattling around in my door panel and hatch panel.

Ah man that sucks, I kinda got that impression from your original post. Too many shops popping up these days that don't really know what they're doing.
The product looks great though, that green looks absolutely stunning on your car. I usually wrap my cars, I'll have to look into Autoflex

Thanks brother! I have a lot of buddies in our local car circle with wrapped Mclarens, Lambos, etc, and the difference in depth is very easily noticeable. You can't pull off graphic designs or chrome with it, but for everything eIse it's significantly better imo. The biggest benefit for me though, is that I have not had a single person run me out of my lane, day or night, since going green. When it was satin grey, I was constantly being run out of my lane at night.
I've had my car for 3+ years now. Been getting bored and thinking of trading it in even though there's nothing wrong with it. Now I am tempted to wrap it to get a new look. What's the ballpark cost on a wrap for our cars?
What brand of film is the “Gloss blue?” Awesome color
Total for the custom paint came to just under $20k CAD.
I wanted a few extra things like stitching in exterior color, and gloss black center console in exterior color. Saw they will not do calipers in exterior color unfortunately. 😢 Are those option like MSO?

If you go through the Designo program, they let you customize pretty much anything you want as long as you are willing to pay for it. Callipers are about the only thing that can not be changed as they come pre-painted from the manufacturer.
