Ordering Help

Greetings! Just recently came back from the AMG driving academy at COTA and fell in love with the GTS. I am pretty sure that I will be ordering one soon and need some help with a few of the options offered.

Here are the options have have decided on:

- Brilliant Blue
- Black Forged Cross-Spoke Wheels
- Night Styling Package
- Red Pepper/Black Nappa Leather
- Lane Tracking Package

Here are the options I am not sure if they are necessary and need your help:

- Burmeister High-End Sound System

I think all the car at COTA had this system, but I was so concentrated on driving the car on the track that I forgot to test the system out. However, I love the way the exhaust sounds that I am not sure if this is needed. Is the standard system that much worse? Owners with the this high end system, do you fell it is worth the $4500? Do you use is often, or do you end up listening to the exhaust most of the time?

- Dynamic Plus Package

This car will be my daily driver from April until November and I don't think it will end up at the local track in the near future. I have heard various owners state that the spring rates are much stiffer with the package and the comfort mode is still pretty hard. I currently drive a 2015 E63S and find myself switching between comfort and sport most of the time. Sport+ in the E63 is definitely too harsh for Chicago driving. Even if I do go to the track, I don't have that much experience so I am wondering if I will be able to make good use of the dynamic transmission mounts and wider power band. With this in mind, do you think I should get this package?

- Ceramic Braking System

Is this necessary for light tracking or will the stock steel brakes do fine? I have the steel brakes on my E63 and I think they stop very well.

Thank you for all your help. Looking forward to ordering the car soon.

People are going to say the opposite but I'll try to give you the honest answer given your parameters:
No
No
No
Burmeister isn't great on my wife's glc. On this? Not so much. Physical space of the car and the constant rumble of the engine make it pointless. Not as pointless as the radio in the old F430 but pretty pointless nonetheless. If I had to choose again I'd delete this.
Dynamic plus pack. If it was a weekend driver? Go for it. For a daily? Uh tad too much. I wouldn't recommend it. Comfort is going to be at a premium.
Ceramic brakes. I use em for track purposes but other then the fact you get no brake dust, it's not needed and your stopping distance will be exactly the same under most circumstances. That's a big chunk of money for the lack of fade on track days. Good luck! And don't forget to get your FREE amg track day when you get the car

Thanks for the helpful comments. Will definitely keep them in mind before I finalize the order. I just came back from my free amg track day at COTA for the E63 purchase and that's where I fell in love with the GTS. Called my salesperson during lunch and asked about availability. I wonder if I can use this track day for the 2-day advanced course and just pay the difference.

Yes you can trade in your 1 day for a 2 Day Advanced and pay the difference.
