Has anyone considered wrapping the mirrors and spoiler on the Edition 1

It would be nice if the spoiler and mirrors matched the Carbon Fiber roof of the Edition 1's.

Has anyone looked into wrapping the mirrors and spoiler to match up with the carbon fiber roof? Do any of the carbon fiber mirror covers fit our mirrors? I can't seem to get an answer from the vendors.

I found a shop that will wrap the mirrors and spoiler for $550. Does that seem about right?

Thanks,

I haven't really thought about it since both items in question are black and the contrast with a carbon fiber wrap is not easily seen against the selenite.

The price might be a little high but the mirrors and the spoiler will require some attention to detail due to the curves and angles vs just doing a roof line.

Thanks Vic,

They said that they would have to remove the spoiler and I'm not sure about the mirrors. You make a good point that it would be difficult to see due to the Edition 1 Grey color. But, the black mirrors and black spoiler looks so plain compared to the roof.

Thanks for your opinion. Do you know if any of the carbon fiber mirror covers fit our mirrors?

I haven't heard of any but then the mod market for our cars is very slow in growth. There just isn't enough demand out there. Arent the OEM version (I think there is an option) a shell/overlay? If so you could source that and pull off the current housing?

Personally if I was going to wrap the wing, I would just have the top part wrapped and cut perfectly at the edges. This would mean no removal and its still a cool look.

This was on my GTR back in 2009 LOL and its probably not as ideal since its on white but a carbon top wrap might be nice on the gloss black:
