Drove away with gas pump still in tank neck
yes i am an idiot

no damage on outside of car whew!

question, is there supposed to be a metal flap inside the neck of the filler cap? mine doesn't have one and i am not sure if it was broken off by the action or if there was never one to begin with?

Yes I mean down inside the filler where it gets narrow to the size of a pump nozzle is there a metal flap there? In mine there is nothing.
