18" wheels to fit the GT-S for track use?
I was wondering if anyone knows of wheels in 18" size that would fit the GT-S for use on track with the multiple tire options in R compounds one can get in 18" sizes. I have been using Enkei GTC-01 wheels on my GT-R for 7 years now with Nitto NT-01 tires in 275/40/18 size front and rear, and they work very well on track, and the GT-R is heavier than the GT-S and has about the same power, and the 18" NT-01's can handle the on-track punishment from fast lapping, unlike the Michelin PSS's which just melt on track on a GT-R at least, and on my C7 Z51.
The older GT-R's like mine have 380 x 34 mm (15.0") rotors and 6-piston Brembo calipers, so very similar to the GT-S rotors which are 390 x 36 mm (15.4") diameter with 6-piston calipers. The newer GT-R's have 390 x 34 mm rotors or 15.4" like the GT-S. We also run 18" Speedline OEM C5 wheels made in Italy on a C7 Z51 and C7 Z06 with iron brakes, and those clear the Z06 iron brakes front and rear with just a small spacer, and those are 370 x 34 mm (14.6") so smaller than the GT-S rotors.
The OEM tire sizes for the GT-S are 265/35/19 with a 26.3" O.D. and the rears are 295/30/20 with a 27.0" O.D., and the GT-S wheels are 19 x 9" with an offset of 61 mm front and 20 x 11" with an offset of 68 mm rear.
I was considering running 18" NT-01's in 275/35/18 with an O.D. of 25.6" in the front and 305/35/18 with an O.D. of 26.4" in the rear. The % ratio of diameters front to rear on the OEM sizes is 26.3/27.0 or 97.4% and the Nittos I am hoping to run would have a ratio of 25.6/26.4 or 97.9%, so close enough I imagine to keep the stability control happy. The 18" tire size option would also allow one to run Toyo R-888's or Hoosiers at higher cost. 18" tires are so much more economical on track than 19 and 20" sizes, and that is why many people run them on GT-R's and Corvettes and other cars.
So if you know of any potential 18" wheel options, post them up.

If I wanted a track wheel, my first option would be the Forgeline GA1R.
I'm going to be doing a couple of track weekends on the stock PSS tires before deciding to switch to a R compound so it might be a while.

There are many great wheels, including those made by Forgeline. It is easy to find good quality wheels, but the difficulty is in finding if there is an 18" wheel that will clear the GT-S's front brakes. Another possibility that has been suggested is the CCW C10 forged wheel, but not known if that model in 18" will fit.
My car is coming with the Pilot Sport Cup 2's as part of the track package (tire option code RS03), but those are very expensive to replace, and I have seen guys with 991 GT3's and Z06's burn them up very quickly on track, so I am looking for a long term solution with smaller wheels.
