Hi Everyone,
I'm selling my GTS. Info is posted in the classifieds. I believe that I'm asking a fair price, esp. with its CC brake option.

GL with sale. Do you just not keep cars long or did the car fall short of your expectations?
Not sure where you are in FL but on this coast you don't need to wait that long and the dealers have inventory arriving every other month.

My waiting-time comment was a reference to the two recent posts referring to their respective waiting times of 5 and 9 months respectively.
It's a great car - probably the most fun to drive of the 20 or so MBs I've owned since 1980.
I don't really expect much West Coast interest in mine - except for someone interested in a cross country drive. BTW, the car is located in Fort Lauderdale.

Just noticed that you meant the West Coast of Florida. I attended the Cars on 5th event a couple of weeks ago and the Mercedes dealer presenting complained about the delivery time for the GTS. In any case, I hope to find someone interested in my configuaration, esp. the CC brakes.

MB of Naples has been on my case over the last year to buy one. They have received 3 of them in the last 6 months.
About the same with the Ft Myers dealer.
Most of the cars sat on the lot for a few months so they are not flying of the shelf.
Cars on Fifth is a great event. I have been attending since the beginning and it is just getting too commercial and busy now. Too bad.
Maybe the next time you are around town, hit me up and we can go out for a drink.

Used car depreciation even with only 1000 miles on a $144K car is probably more than $6000. Unless someone absolutely does not want to wait and was looking for a Black car with CCB brakes, it would be a tough sell at almost $138K. I am guessing a dealer will offer in the low to mid $120K for this car.
While you claim this is the best MB you have driven, is there a particular reason why you want to sell it after 950 miles? Good luck with the sale.

You are correct the dealer volumes are starting to flatten out and cars are indeed sitting longer--- I have mentioned this in other thread: there is about 12% from msrp (invoice is 6% back of msrp) to triple net of holdback on these cars so a 144100 msrp is circa 127k and once its off the lot it cant be leased (after certain miles) via MBFS and it is indeed used. So wholesale on the car will drop further to around 120k or even less.
