So thanks to Matthew and Nicole it looks like I might finally get my car on Friday of this week after six long months. I did get Mercedes to graciously Allow The use of the appreciation certificate that originally excluded the GT which was a nice gesture.
Will post pictures this weekend hopefully.

Just an FYI. There are 22 2017 GT cars being held at VPC Brunswick ga.
No idea why but I will update.
Edit: there is an open Mod on all cars they are awaiting parts from Europe

Great news.
What is an open mod?
I am usually someone who sees the glass half full so hopefully my car did not have any issues and was built with functioning parts.
If I see the glass half empty, my car slipped thru the cracks and they did not fix it.
If you are able to know what was fixed, please text me.
Thanks in advance and looking forward to your pics.

We went through the same issue on the initial product launch cars. Just ask JRCART. We were trying to find out what the issue was as well when suddenly they were all released and on their way to the dealers.
I hope they release the cars real soon.
Best regards

Honestly, this is sometimes a "chinese fire drill". The cars may need a US component like smog or emissions.

Took delivery on Friday and slowly made my way home at rush hour.
Early impressions are solid. This car is a brute at all speeds and suspension is so neutral that car turns in fast on a corner. Compared to the edition one I drove, it's a night and day experience, as that car was diving board stiff. This car has no creaks, smells of any kind. Stock wheels are great, I may leave them alone.
I'm driving everywhere this weekend as it's just such a great rush.
Two things that I need to correct. There is some orange peel on doors and hood. And the sun visor yellow air bag stickers are making me crazy. They are right in my line of sight. I may have to order a euro version.
I'll post some pics once car gets ceramic. Thanks to all here whos opine pointed me to this great car. Cheers

Welcome to your new ride!! It's going to be a exciting experience!!
I don't have to tell you to watch that never ending Atlanta traffic in front of you and to keep a watchful eye in your rear view mirror too.

Thank you everyone. It was worth wait and I know so much more about this car because of you all here.
Indeed, I cannot wait to get into some full throttle, but babying it now.
I do have a slight low speed brake squeal going on. Any suggestions?

Regading visors, find and auto interior shop to cover your visors in alcantara. I purchased a spare set of visors and had a local high-end auto upholstery shop cover them. I used a company here in the Chicago area called Riggs Brothers. The cost to have them covered including materials was about $450 for the pair and they looked OEM quality.
Enjoy the new ride!!!
