Speaker behind driver not working?
Hi folks,
I've always complained about the sound system with the standard Burmeister system in my Edition 1 AMG GTS. It always feels very "forward" focused even with the "surround" on. I noticed over the past few days that there is no sound coming out of the speaker directly behind the driver on the left. Is this is a speaker or a sub or something?

Coincidentally I have the B&O system in my SL and unless you are playing specially encoded CD's (LOL) that take advantage of the rears, they are useless. One would think B&O would at least have a simulated mode to put some sound out.
Agree with the OP, the B&O system is definitely front biased. In my opinion, a $5,400 mistake the H&K is just fine.

Makes sense. I've tried all the sources, but don't have any specially encoded CDs. I guess I'll likely need to upgrade the audio system in time. It's a shame that such a phenomenal $150k car has an audio system worse than our old C300 with the HK system!
