Hey all,

Has anyone heard what the 2017 GT sounds like for North America? I know it doesn't have a exhaust valve system like the S and have been trying to track down something that shows what it will sound like.

 

Shouldn't it sound like an S with valves closed?

 

I'm not entirely sure, neither was my sales rep. Here is the excerpt from the technical document from Merc Canada

AMG Sports Exhaust System (AMG GT only)
The emotive hallmark AMG V8 sound is particularly powerful when
accelerating. At constant speed the noise level is more reserved

AMG Performance Exhaust System (AMG GT S only)
The exhaust system volume can be adjusted at the push of a button – for
an emotive sound experience or a reduced noise level. Two integrated,
chrome-plated tailpipe trim elements create a visually clear highlight.

Need an example to ensure the quality here!

 

Would the stock GTS exhaust fit the 2017 GT? If so, i will have a stock GTS performance exhaust for sale shortly
