Used 2016 GT-S Price Question
Now that I've started to look more seriously for one of these, let me know what you all think about this vehicle and the options it carries:
2016 GTS. 980 miles
992 (Selenite Gray)
557 Red Pepper/l;ack
H70 AMG silver chrome trim
P60 AMG Exterior Night
P71 Dynamic Plus Package
L6G Full Dynamica Steering Wheel
466:Active Engine Mounts
U70 Red Brakes
Y05 Red Seat Belts

Original MSRP was $140,695. Asking $128,500
How much more off could I get off this? The car doesn’t have either carbon roof or glass roof and no arial kits which were some of the items I was looking for o I’m not super eager to get this. Just want to see which ball park I should be looking at. Thanks.

Before you drop your $$
Unless car has a 501 exclusive Nappa leather on red pepper it will look orange.
Active suspension means active as in daily driving harsher.
That number is real close to original invoice.

Prices have been holding reasonably well but they will probably drop a bit once the 17s are out and selling.
Unless you are in a hurry and you can get it for $125K, you could order a new one, get it exactly how you want it and pay probably about the same (130K). It's difficult but there are dealers out there willing to negotiate.
If you are not averse to a tune, then the GT is even the better bargain.
FYI that you can add the front and side aero package by ordering it from dealer (about $2K). I did it on my GT as I did not want the fixed wing in back but liked the front.
Good luck and let us know what you end up getting.

I would personally question any car that has less than 1000 miles. Best case scenario, it was not properly broken in – which some suspect has led to some of the issues on this forum (for example oil consumption/burning).
As it relates to price, my feeling is the range should be 115-125 for any used model that was light to moderately optioned.

That is only about $12,000 under MSRP and it's used. Dealers are discounting new 2016's more than that. My dealer had to shave nearly $15,000 off of there last 2016 to get it out the door, although that one had an MSRP of about $150k. That 2016 you are looking at does not not even qualify for CPO so there is no advantage to buying it. Sometimes the CPO warranty makes a low mile used car a better overall value than going new but the one you speak of is not a CPO. Car would have to sell for about $120K to make sense IMO.

Thank you all for the feed backs. I'm going to keep on searching. After seeing a GT with the aero package I'm very sure that I'd want that on my car. Unless it's not too pricey to get it retro fitted, I'm going to wait until I find one that comes with these. Edition one then if I'm looking for a used GT-S?

When did MB start CPO'ing same model year cars?? In the past cars at to be at least a calendar and model year old, three or four years ago they needed to be 24 months old.

I knew I was right, Mercedes is not offering CPO on any 2016 models yet....so not sure how someone purchased a 2016 CPO GT-S???? There are ZERO GT-S's available for CPO on the MBUSA CPO vehicle search.

to my knowledge Mercedes cannot actually CPO a GTS, that's from what i understand.
Lots of Edition 1's for sale, my local dealer has one @129k, but won't budge, I've tried!

In my experience, Mercedes has been able to certify without a problem. I bought my 2016 Edition 1 AMG GTS with very low mileage 1 year ago (Sep 2015) with CPO warranty. I drive the car daily and plan to keep it a while so the CPO was worth it for me. Now at 18k miles after 1 year of ownership. Good luck with your purchase! It's an amazing car!
