Google Translate is Useful for Tech Details
Thanks for sharing this price list. Google Translate did a commendable job translating some of the interior and exterior bits like the exhaust systems on the different models. Also, it's possible to make some price comparisons, for example the percentage difference in Euro between base prices of new models like the GT R and GT C compared to the Euro base prices for the GT S Coupe. And between models, for example, the GT R is 4,000 Euro more than the GT C. From my experience working for a large German standards organization here in the U.S., the conversion rate $/Euro was set once/year and the business had to accommodate currency swings that could hurt or help their bottom line. It could be that the exchange rates in effect today on the GT and GT S will apply to GT C and GT R, so this price list is particularly helpful.
As mentioned by others earlier, U.S. cars have standard equipment that is optional in Europe and some other markets, so those costs have to be added in and the Euros converted to dollars, for example, comparing similarly equipped GT or GT S prices in the U.S. and Europe to get an estimate of the conversion rate that M-B is using.
