You are correct; the car post tune is full of wheel spin... peak hp on these cars may sell tunes but that doesnt make the tune the best for daily driveability. How many here actually sit at the peak hp on a repetititive basis? These arent GT3's or R8 V10's that run steep hp curves and need to be driven 8/10ths or better to get the power out. The turbos are already maxed out once one tunes it. Any one considering a tune should be looking at the usable rpm ranges.

I would like to officially through another one into the mix, DME Tuning, out of New Jersey.
I have first hand experience with various other tuners, and while I will won’t go into pros/cons, I am extremely satisfied with the experience DME Tuning provides. The actual tune itself, the amount of data they have for the GTS platform to tune to specific requests/requirements, the communication, it all is tremendous.

As I've said before, tuning a factory car isn't that difficult whether it's a VW Golf or an AMG GTS. All these tunes are 95% identical to each other. Go with whomever you are comfortable with. Don't fall for the hype.

You mean to tell us a car with upgraded turbos and methanol injection is faster than one without? I'd like to subscribe to your newsletter.

Car had issues with eurocharged tune, does not have similar issues with DME tune
