Interior light

This might be a dumb question... but, I'm just wondering - is the drivers side under dash "convenience" light supposed to stay on all the time when driving?

It's not really bad - I took the car out last night for the first time in the evening and the pedals and my legs remained lit up.

I don't *think* mine stay on but I'm not totally sure. I'll try to remember to check when I next get chance.

Right Larry. Tried it tonight during my latest rattle tests

The footwell light on my car turns off after a few seconds.
