Has anyone gotten a 2018 GTS yet? My dealer said they have limited allocations. They are the number 3 dealer in US. I'm waiting impatiently. Mercedes has my order and it is confirmed.

I'm wondering how long to wait before bailing and getting an in stock car.

I was supposed to have gotten a slot by last Saturday, but have yet to hear from my sales guy.

 

I picked up my 2018 GTS a couple of weeks ago. I placed the order at the beginning of March and it was in port in Baltimore the last week of May. It sat there until the end of June when it finally shipped to Colorado. Supposedly I got the first 2018 GTS in the state.

 

You got extremely lucky, and likely got someone else's slot? Because even in Germany, orders placed in May were getting fulfillment estimates of August 2018.

 

There is one in Jacksonville Orange Park dealer on the showroom floor.

169,070 but they were also offering 30k off. I could only do nothing but dream and drool 😀

 

I went to my dealer, today, to get a status on mine. I was told that there are only four GTS' allocated to the entire U.S. per month.

It may be a while.

Maybe I should've ordered a GTR.

 

That sounds like sales talk, but I would think most of production would be dedicated to the C and the R. So should shore up inventory.

 

It may be true. I ordered mine in June? They told me they were getting an allocation slot on August 10!

Waiting is terrible. I've second guessed my options, color ,etc a million times

 

Maybe it's going to be here, next week, and they just want to surprise me! :-D
