SL600 - do you have the Dynamic Performance Package (DPP)? Curious about the alignment impact of lowering given DPP's built-in neg camber.

Believe I've answered my own question. Your earlier post implied DPP (which is how the top of the tire remains flush with the fender).

Thought about that the problem is that the hub sticks out about 12.6mm and the flange on the spacers does in about 9mm which means that still the thinnest spacer I could fit is 13mm. I would need a spacer custom made that has none of the flange going inside the hub hole like H&Rs does. Then a 10mm would be great.
I'm looking to do a different car next year and don't want to enter into the new wheel universe without lowering.
VIC ? I'm not disregarding lol.

I dont know who makes a 13mm from a general production standpoint. 2mm to 15mm is negligible and you should be just fine as shown here. The H&R 15mm are hubcentric and you dont have to worry about any mickey mouse BS.

FWIW I had the same issue with H&R spacers on my CLK63, rears were fine but fronts wouldn't clear the hub. I had custom spacers made from a company in Nevada and they worked perfectly.

Bringing this back from the dead... So are 15mm spacers still the only option for the front wheels? My car is not lowered so 15mm might look a bit aggressive on a stock height car.

Disregard.. answered my own question after looking at the drawing in a previous post.
Am I going off in the deep end with this idea?? I have access to a machine shop with a lathe... Could I purchase the 15mm or 13mm spacers from H&R so that the hub snout issue is not a problem, then take those spacers and turn down the face (the side with the snout) to the thickness I desire without touching the snout. I could then turn it down to 10mm or whatever thickness. As long as I don't create a snout that is longer than 12.6mm, it should be fine correct? I really do not want the tires to be sticking out, and by that I mean the tire sidewall. I am planning on lowering it with the KW setup, but will not be dropping it very much. Maybe 1/2" or so. Anyone see any issues from doing this?

They only offer 5mm, 13mm, and 15mm as far as I can see on the website. Didn't really answer my question, but thanks for the input. Also, very aware that I will need longer bolts.

So I switched the fronts to the +15mm HR spacers model 305665 and they are a perfect fit. This is the max you can go though guys. It goes right up to the fender with a lowered car. DO NOT try this on a regular suspension car as it will look horrible and give the illusion that the wheels are sticking out.
The front end handling has improved drastically: very stable and precise.
Looks wise though here are my thoughts: with the OEM 19/20 wheels, problem with the +15 spacers is that they end us showing too much tire sidewall since they come out so far. I think I will stick to the OEM or have custom spacers built. With the front wheels without spacers, the fenders throws shadow on the top of the tire which doesn't make it seem as high of a profile. If I had 20" in the front, this offset would be perfect for sure.
