Well Almost

Mmmh, interesting thread!

I spent a couple of wonderful days with Lamborghini a few weeks back - Imola driving all the v10's, factory tour, AdPersonam.... the works.

Just ordered a Performante........ so, now I have a stock GT and a tuned Huracan

I hope the hospital driveway was a place you frequented because of work

I think the GTS is one of the few cars which successfully blurs the line of presence + curb appeal with elegance. The only other similar GT car IMHO would be a Ferrari 550/575... I find (again IMHO) that today's cars either look too loud or too similar. It's hard to differentiate on all fronts on quality, performance, elegant design, and every day utility... it's rare, but something comes around every decade or so to nail all those parameters, and I think the GTS is one of those cars.

Haha yes thanks for your well wishes. Lucky to have secure physicians' only covered parking but must share common driveway.

+1. Critics accuse new Ferrari 812 and Portofino of borrowing design elements from Corvette.

Layperson can't tell difference between Cayman and Turbo S, only GT models are visually distinct.

Lots of new car designs don't seem well-integrated like Macca's empty eye socket front headlights.

AMG GTS is good example of the sum being greater than the parts. Well integrated design and beautiful to look at with a thoughtful interior that is a nice place to be.

Not a Huracan but I expect the result would be about the same with a stock Huracan. We raced several times and from a dig he would jump out about 5 to 6 cars on me immediately and I could not reel him in. From a roll I could slowly pull on him. Its a Renntech R2 package.

a lot of truth here. Now that the cayman has gone turbo, I wonder what the aftermarket has in store for these cars in a few years? I wonder what a tune, upgraded turbos etc would do to a base cayman?
