Secondary Cat delete
I am a new member, joined this forum today, and picked up my 2017 solarbeam coloured GT on Saturday.
A wonderful car!
Never had a new car before and I have treated myself.
(Had a heart by-pass and figured we are here for good time not a long time...:-)...I left a post and pictures of the car in the new members section).
I am smitten with this car after 400kms, and cannot wait till post-running-in and can go to S+ and manual mode.
I am conscious of voiding warranty, but interested in forum members collective wisdom on secondary cat delete - performance improvement not the issue, but if the sound, cracks, pops, growls etc is enhanced - I am keen. It makes me giggle like a little kid! It has plenty of performance already...

I was very lucky. No angina. Caught it on a stress echo. My cardiologoist says the type I had is euphemistically called the "widow maker".
80% stenosis.

The secondary cat delete is more about deeper sound, less restriction and less heat.

Huh... you might want to do some research on the GTS model.... the post cats are basically resonators in nature but named accordingly and have zero gains in regards to power/tq. They are downstream of the dps and dont even trigger CEL's. They are exclusive of the downpipes and the gains associated with them.
