Okay playing with the car tonight. I've seen and isn't there suppose to be a vinyl pull that covers the contents in the deep part of the hatch/trunk space? I see where it looks like it would connect. I thought it was in that big long bag I received. However, when I opened it up tonight for the first time it contains the cargo net.

Nothing in my GTC. No vinyl pull. Not in my GTS either. But I think in my 2013 SL550 there was.
The screen, or netting, is in a long bag that should have been in the trunk of the car. If you didn't get it, your dealer owes it to you.
So my car came with the net to stop things in the hatch area from flying towards the front during a rapid stop, but there’s no ‘roll-up screen’ to cover up items in the hatch area from prying eyes.

It's a roll up that pulls out of the trunk with the tab that's circled in an earlier picture. My GT has it. Not sure about the other GT variants.

It’s fun trying to out guess MB. I am revising my opinion to the screen gets deleted if you get the PAK option which has the black AMG bar in the storage area instead of the storage bar for the privacy shield.
Here it is. I knew I saw it somewhere. Guess MB decided not to include it for North America...

Obviously I can only deduce that it does. But if you look closely, the AMG logo piece takes the place of the privacy screen storage bar. The pictures I referenced in this thread show this. In other words unless somebody here can show a GTR picture with both I’m sticking to my story.

makes sense...wonder if USDM cars dont get it at all.. carfection is a european (british) publication.. what ever happened to Alex Roy? I see him on roadshow sometimes but not on carfection anymore.. ?
