Will the AMG GT go up in value?

Anyone that has dealt with "sports cars" for many years realizes they are not an investment for the most part. Drive them, enjoy them, trade in..........repeat.
Hopefully at least save the sales tax on the next car!

Congrats!!
Now take it to the dealer of your choice and make sure the remainder of the factory 4 year warranty is linked to you.
Have them run the service history and make sure the Service “A” has been done.
Have them check to see if all of the factory flashes and updates have been completed including a very recent NAV update.
Regards

Ive been hunting for an Edition 1 also the prices are all over the place, Ive seen a couple of good examples dip into the mid 90s only to be purchased and relisted like a day later for about $10k more.

Some of us got substantial discounts off MSRP so the depreciation was built in to the new car price.

I received about 22% off MSRP on my 17 GT plus a $1000 more than I paid for my trade in so ultimately even though it was a MY17 bought earlier this year it was too good of a deal for me to pass up.

pricing
mine is virtually new with 1400 miles so at $100k I feel fine as it is a lot of car for the $$

Update?
I'd like to pick up a clean low-mileage GTC. And it'll be a lot easier to get approval from the SFC (Spousal Finance Committee) if I can somehow justify it as an investment instead of an expense! TIA for your (honest) thots!

Every indication is these cars are holding their value and in many cases increasing. What I am not sure is if is part of the overall very strong used car market right now or something specific to the AMG GT's?
I tend to think it is part of overall market situation vs. AMG GT's as most everything used and somewhat limited in availability is way up. Time will tell if this will hold but currently a sellers market.

Its much more likely that you'll eat a decent decrease in value when the covid market corrects, long before you see any investment potential.
