My driver's seat cushion moves up and down ever so slightly, if you grab it from the front and push/pull it up/down. Is this the same issue being described here?
The passenger seat doesn't do it; but I can't feel it while driving. It's not a side to side movement.

I just noticed this today too. It doesn't bother me much, but I hope it doesn't get looser over time.

Hahaha, well thats why I lie to myself and say it doesn't bother me. Cause if I even let the thought cross my mind twice, I will get obsessed about it...like now dammit

Right.. well I’m sorry I brought it up! I’m taking the car in for a couple of other things on Monday. I’ll ask if it’s an easy fix or not. If not, I’m not going to do anything.

Had mine fixed last week and it is a noticeable difference in cornering.

Nice! And mine is so very minor, it basically went away depending on the height and position of the seat. I certainly can’t feel it move while driving, so I think I’m just being ****, OCD!

What ever happened here? Was the issue resolved? I am out of warranty and would hate to bring to the dealer and have them charge me and arm and leg to tell me there’s nothing wrong with seat

I actually didn’t have an issue.

There is a known TSB which your dealer should be able to reference.

Right. It turns out it’s the backrest not the cushion and the backrest moves the smallest amount. Most cars have a small amount of play when you move the backrest forward/backwards.

The seat cushion rocking is a known issue on earlier GTs and dealers have a TSB they can refer to on how to fix it.
