2017 AMG GT
Goodbye

Well, I traded in the GT on a 2018 911 S with sport chrono, pasm, and sport exhaust. I loved my GT but found it very uncomfortable. My biggest gripe was the lack of padding in the seat bottoms. I just noticed I was avoiding the car, so I decided to get something extremely usable. The GT has much more curb appeal / valet appeal, but the 911 is far easier to live with and use. Besides comfort, the short nose of the 911 makes maneuvering it through traffic much easier. At any rate of owned nearly 30 cars of this caliber, so I feel blessed to be able to try so many.

I did lease the 911 because I feel like the 991.2 is a transitional car that will not be as desired as the 992 or 991.1.

I wish everyone well. I will probably be a little active on the cla45 forum because I do have a 2018 cla45 too.

who says you have to leave??? Ive been here since 2001 (actually before under a different format) and have had gaps where I didnt have a Benz yet found myself here because of the wealth of information. But beyond that, 97.36% of the members here are good people and genuinely care about helping whether we own a Benz, Porsche or even an Acura LOL (Bish!!!)

I have a had many Carreras (Turbos, Turbo S's, 991.1's 991.2's) and they are all great cars. I really enjoy(ed) the chassis feedback, damper/spring relationship, rear to mid engine setup and pin point steering on my 991's. Ive never had so much fun in a 450 hp car (my current cab) as its very fast yet so well balanced on the street. I did a few quick mods like HFC's and the exhaust note married with the oem PSE gives great sounds.

Congrats and post pics.

well stated. No reason to leave. The 911 is a great all around car. Very tough to beat for everyday enjoyment.

Enjoy the the new ride!

This thread is useless without pics of the new ride . Congrats on the new toy and it was the right move for you. Don't be a stranger and hang around.

P-cars (911) are one of the best street-track cars..produced today.....my DD is a 2017 991.2 turbo S......a consummate car in either case....my 1st P-car was a 356 cpe.

Drive safe everybody
