Random Exhuast question
Hey guys,

Do any of you notice on cold start up (for GTS guys) that it isnt always as loud?? Sorry if this has been talked about in another thread before!

I'm not sure I understand your question. I think it defaults to valves closed unless you turn the car in accessory mode and hit the exhaust switch before starting the car.

^^ I'll try that. But i usually just turn it on when i first drive it and sometimes its really loud and sometimes its pretty quiet. seeing if anyone else experienced this?

Have heard what you describe on various GTS’ over the years. Sometimes it is rip-roaring loud at start, sometimes not so much so. It is not an issue of any kind, several factors. How long car sat, valve position as described by someone else earlier in this thread, and a couple other factors.

all MB start up at a fast idle to warm up fast

My 18 GTS is always loud on start-up. I always drive in Individual setting with comfort suspension, Race transmission, Manual and Sport+ exhaust.
