I wouldn't if I were you...I like the 2016 front end.

It's an Edition One, I wouldn't change anything.

Just so you know it’s NOT an Edition 1. They had a fixed spoiler and different wheels and a package of other options.

I traded mine on my current car a GTR.

I do like the screens though and they weren’t on my E1.

My sense is that it is a GTS with those screens added.

Regards

I was referring to the OP 2016amggtsed1, since he said his was an Edition 1.

I know the picture I posted is not an edition 1. The front ends are the same, which was the point of the thread. Yellow is my favorite color on this car. I agree, the screens make a difference (and help protect as well).

The new Panamercana grill (vertical slats) found on the current/facelifted AMG GT's are a different shape than the pre-facelift 2016-2017 grills. Entire front bumper design is different. You'd have to swap out the entire front bumper cover to incorporate the facelifted grill.

To my knowledge, there are no aftermarket grills that's in the current design (vertical slats) for the pre-facelifted AMG GT.

You got a great collection! Your garage looks identical to my brother's garage. He has several lifts as well filled, with classic Corvettes...one of them my 73 454 big block in the off season.

Your GT sure looks Boss! How do you like the drive and handling compared to your other cars? Yes, I realize the age disparity...just wonder about the fun factor in your opinion compared to the others.

it best compares to the R8
that one was supercharged with the v-10 and gated 6 speed
that car for me was more of a special occasion car where the GTS makes a better daily
all good for different reasons
not pictures are a '70 hemi cuda and superformance cobra

I hear they are doing away with the Audi gated 6 speed. How sad! The only real connection between you and the car. That gated gearbox sure makes it more fun. Can't believe they sell the MB GT without manual. Paddles just don't make it for me. Then again, as you say, the MB GT is your daily driver.

What year Audi do you have? The 540 or 610 plus? Those Audi plus models are rare cars. Lucky you.

His is a true Edition 1

See the wheels, black exhaust tips and fixed wing.

A very nice option package at a great price point.
