So there’s really nothing underneath the carpet in the trunk area. I almost wanted to take things apart and see what’s hiding under there. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing. Something is not adding up with this. I do not see rear end or frame damage so there's no need to strip down the interior nor remove the entire engine up front and transmission.

It’s not confusing guys. Your reading it wrong. The owner of the damaged AMG GT rear ended someone, not that he got rear ended. The front end had extensive damage, but I guess it was not enough for the insurance company to total the car. The total repair bill was close to $58k. The engine and transmission needed to be drop to work on the engine compartment and front end.
I would be trading that in too, but there is a funny story behind it. 2 brothers both bought or owned 2 super cars, one brother owned a Lamborghini ( don’t know the model ) and the other owns this AMG GT. The brother with the AMG GT crashed and totaled the other brother’s Lambo and while the brother with GT was out of the country on business, the brother with the Lambo cashed his brother’s GT. I guess they both got even.

It is a bit confusing because the front end in your pics appear undamaged. Our car is also from Foothill Ranch. Were those pics takes there?
I wouldn't be happy with the dealer leaving all these parts as they lay, especially the interior (seats, console, steering wheel). I am sure that will leave some marks...

58k in total damage? That looks like 58k in labor alone - lol.

I was told by my SA the front impact bar was already replaced when i saw this car. I didn’t realize the dealer plate, but no. This was not at Foothill Ranch. It was at me local dealer where i have been going for years which had been awesome and wouldn’t go anywhere else. I probably would like to see my car stripped down like that, but the dealer is responsible to make it back to a new car.

Now I am getting confused. First you create the thread and then after some questions you are pulling all the pics I was referring to?
