AMG GTs are everywhere!
The GTs are gaining popularity in my area! There are five that are in a four block radius of me here in West Los Angeles(Westwood). They are popping up like weeds! Is anyone else seeing more of them on the street? I hope they don’t get too common like 911s.

I live in Irvine, Orange County outside of Los Angeles and I hardly see any...even though I'm only 10 miles from the largest MB dealership in the USA. But then I'm not allowed in the fancy places that Vic frequents.

I VERY rarely see any in southern California. So your title of them being everywhere is a bit much. Unlike porsche 911s, they are far rarer...they throw people off when they see one.

Wait, you live in Irvine and just a few miles from FJ and hardly see any GTs in your area? I’m in Diamond Bar and when I visit Irvine, I see more than 2-3 GT (R) just in shopping center parking lots of restaurants. And FJ service department on a Saturday morning car wash, I thought it was a AMG GT meet. Just saying there are allot of GT owners in SoCal.

I see them from time to time in Southern Florida but they are not common.
I was looking for some information on how many of each type built per year but no luck, any one know?

The rarest of breeds here. I have literally seen more Porsche 918's than GT models here. I assume we have maybe 30 cars in the state. Plenty of high-end cars around...

I do see them at FJ service department but I don't go to the Vic style restaurants and although I have seen a couple in my area of Irvine (Quail Hill) they are uncommon. Perhaps it is more a statement about the places I go. I rarely go to upscale eateries.

Well, check out my name. There should be a million of them here, right? I see one perhaps every 3-4 days. About the same frequency with which I see i8 Bimmers. (I used to own one but got rid of it for the GT as I was afraid I would die of boredom.)

My cousin dated a man with a I8. He brought it one Christmas and gave me a ride in it. It was about as exciting as watching paint dry... Good move getting into a AMG GT

I've only seen 2 other GT's in my neck of the the SF Bay Area - a white one in Alameda and a silver one in Oakland. My Solarbeam Yellow GTS is actually the only one I've ever seen on the street anywhere I've traveled since the car debuted.
