Turbo Upgrade VS Tune
Hi Folks,
I now have about 2,100 miles on my GTS and am interested in either Eurochaged handheld OBD tune or Pure Turbo upgrade.
I track my car a handful of time each year, so track performance is not a big deal, I am mostly interested in spirited driving and having fun. My understanding is that tune gives me more torque and not as much HP increase at least not on the top end. I did like how torquey my DB11 was, too bad gearbox couldn’t handle it. I also like the fact that with tune, I don’t have to ship my car out of town.
I would appreciate feedback from the guys who have had experience with either Pure Turbo or the tune.

I have a stage 2 flash tune now but I'm looking for more power... I've been looking into the pure stage 2 turbo's but I'm worried the DCT won't hold. I know DME offers a stage 3 flash tune for the Pure 900 turbo upgrade as well.

Tune will get you to 600 hp and 600 foot pounds of torque if you’re just doing spirited driving what more do you need the turbos are really only after 100mph. The real changes are throttle response which is exactly what you’re looking for in this scenario.

Stock GTS is 470-480rwhp. 124-126 trap speed.
Tune will get you around 530-550rwhp. 129-131 trap speed.
Pure 800 turbos will get you 630-650rwhp from what I've gathered. Mid 130s trap speed. We're talking Huracan, 488, 570s type performance in a straight line.
Pure 900 turbos are good for 700-800rwhp depending on what kind of fuel and how much you want to risk the DCT. Now you're talking 720s type Hypercar performance in a straight line.
