Picking up a black GTS for my wife and she commented that the front nose is quite long. I daily a DBS and it also has a long front end which scrapes on driveway entrances if I’m not turning in at a good angle. Does the GTS have similar issues? Visibility perspective ok?

At stock height, it has some of the best ground clearance in it's class, mainly due to height off the ground and how close the front wheels are to the front lip. Visibility isn't too bad, once you get used to it, the blind spot monitoring helps a good bit.

Agreed. For me and my wife the nose length took a little driving to adjust to (and no skyview front/side cameras like our E63S). But just a week of using as a daily and that's all good now. I find the front parking sensors mores sensitive than our E63S too, so that keeps the nose otherwise safe.

We do have one steep drive to deal with and just taking the transition at a slight angle removed our one scrape risk. Why folks making steep drives don't understand that the transitions are so important....

I never look for the front end. Visibility does suck from the sides with the heavy A pillars and poor large side mirror placement

Same, I've said it before, but I REALLY wish we had surround view for parking. The front end and very rear seating position were odd and noticeable when I was test driving them, but a day or two after ownership and I was completely acclimated.

Driver height is going to play a large role in visibility for those asking, as my wife is shorter than I am and has a much more difficult time with it than I do, 5' 2" vs 5' 10".

Just for reference; while all AMG GT models have limited rear visibility, the coupes rear visibility is excellent compared to the roadster as 60% of the rear view is covered by the soft top storage. Blind spot assist is essential on the top down car.

I have a lot of scraping in the areas I haunt, primarily Malibu, Calabasas, West L.A., Santa Monica. There are some places where you can't approach or depart from the severe angled driveways and others where it makes no difference. Poor road maintenance is also a problem. The noise is horrendous.

You can daily any car, question is would you want to!

Long hood, rear set driving position and awkward side mirrors make the AMG GT more difficult to position on the road, although you would get used to it.

911 suffers from none of these issues.

Buy what you like best

AMG GT R Pro
Currently use the GTR Pro as a daily driver. Winter tires going on today. On the real bad days I'll take the Raptor out but I look forward to putting as many miles on this thing as possible
