You definitely are right cause of the whole facelift 2020 vs 2019, but I'm not sure how many 2019s will remain by then. I got my father a 46k discount off a 176k GT C Roadster - last time I checked I think there were only a few new solarbeam yellows left. I guess if you don't mind the color, you next spring will get you absolute killer deals. It would be neat to see the sales data on the remaining new inventory

Most hardcore enthusiasts will ORDER THE CAR WITH THEIR SPECS. Thus, the cars sitting.
Buy the car or don’t . Don’t come around and pretend you’ve figured out how to get a deal. If it’s a deal you’re looking for , get a Subaru . Otherwise, count up your pennies and plunk down some cash and get the car already.

Oh yeah I’m well aware, what I meant is that poster may find a killer deal if he waits - but his choices will be severely limited (if any even remain by then)

I doubt any new 2019 will be available NEXT spring.

There will always be people
Who have have to have the latest and greatest. But many people are also motivated by substantial discounts which the 2019 models are already starting to get. 2020 models of the GT (any) up here have no promotions and don’t need them. Remember that the 19’s and 20’s are mechanically identical but the 20’s have the EGR filter and electric steering now and 19’s are pretty pure in that respect. As to 18’s there is little to none in the secondary market and what little there is has a decent price on it still at least here in Toronto. I would be happy to sell you a 19 at a great price. All our 2018 were essentially gone by Jan 2019
We had 2 2018 left I think and they eventually got sold by end of February. Inventory was sparse by end of the year 2018 and there was $40,000 in discounts plus whatever you could negotiate. Same will happen with 2019. If you want one and your looking to use it for its intended purpose there will be deals to be had. If your looking for a garage queen then place your factory order but know that build slots are very rare up here for these.

Can someone please summarize total sales of the GT 2 doors so far? Does anyone have this data? Curious if a GTC/GTR will be more rare than a GT3. GT3s are not that rare - I think around 5K were built of the 991.2. Add another 5K for the 991.1 and you’re looking at around 10K for one generation.
