So twice now my power steering feels like it is not working on start up. I turn the car off and back on and it’s fine. Anyone else experience this? I want to take it in but if it only happens twice in nine months they will say they can’t duplicate it. Ideas?

When you say you can turn the car off and then back on and its fine I would be asking if you had left the car running would the steering continue to feel like it was not working for say 20 seconds after the car was started?

I let it run for over a minute and it never came back to normal. On restart it was fine. Odd?

Yes that is odd. I suspect there is a valve that creates variable power steering and for some reason or another your valve did not operate correctly twice. On my two Mercedes i have had rare flukes. For example the V12 very rarely shakes a bit at idle and only briefly.

On the gt and the v12 the sterio system has had to be reset once because it locks up and stops working. Once reset all was well.
