Down side if having a limited production car
Anyone else notice that most repair parts have to come from Germany or NJ and not ever in local stock? All three of my warranty repairs have taken a week because parts are never in local stock. I’m in LA, not exactly a small city, and parts are never in stock. I guess it’s the price we pay for having a car with such low production numbers! Anyone else find this to be true?

Parts exceed my expectations as far as their fast arrival, I was well aware I bought a car I didn’t expect a dealer to have parts on the shelf for (besides basic maintenance) as it wouldn’t make much any inventory dollar sense as a business for them to have that money tied up on the shelf for such low turn rate.
When I last second thought of getting 2 complete alignment shim kits back in fall ‘17 for doing a proper alignment adjustment, one set was in Oregon, one set New Jersey, they were both there the next day.
