Purchasing GTS
Hello everyone as I was inspecting the car I noticed this on the undercarriage seems the rubberized under spray on the chassis has been scrapped off I don't know if maybe it happened while putting on lift, during transport, I looked further underneath and found no other visible damage. Anyone have an idea what could have happened ? Do your Gt look similar ? The car is a 2016 with 2107 miles. Everything else looks great except the typical small scuff under the front bumper from parking lot stoppers.

Also is this normal isn't it suppose to be the color of the car or black. My concern is if the car had damage of the undercarriage and repaired. Car fax is clean but who says the repairs weren't done out of pocket

Hello Cutter. The color is selenite grey. It has the same scrapes on both side why it makes me think loading it on a ramp or lift. The dealer Im buying from isn't Mercedes Benz they are a Bentley dealer. They told me they bought the car at a Mercedes Benz private auction

Thank you for the replies Cutter. Going to take a look at another in person to see the undercarriage and compare. Also on the car fax it shows the dealer that had it before going to auction will see if anyone can give me some feed back on the car

I think those are protective rubberized coating to prevent rust when the cars are shipped from Germany across the Atlantic Ocean. Some dealers spend more time to remove them, others just leave it as it is.

Thanks for the reply LA going to take a look at another one to see how it looks underneath. I'm just thinking it might have been damaged in transit from dealer to dealer and auction
