New Era?
the GT, GTS, GTC and R are far to common. Hell, I remember when people were talking about the Gallardo being special. Thing is the furthest thing from collectors car.
Rarity typically dictates whether or not a car would be of any interest years down the road.
The things car guys make up to justify their purchases are incredible. The mustang gt350/r Shelby forums are littered with the same irrational emotional nonsense.
Not sure why I expected differently here.

“Not a collector car” - you can do what you want with yours but most will disagree.
There's nothing desirable on analog gauges, no matter how romantic you think it might be.
And just because Porsche has managed to create such a sought after car like the GT3 and produce it in such high volume doesn't mean anything to our cars. Porsche has had an aura for decades. AMG GT has not. Porsche is a common house hold name. 911 as well. AMG GT S/C/R is not.
Only person I have seen that claims that their car is going to be a collectors car is you. It is a hilarious notion. Maybe, similar to the 60's mustangs, it can be a collectors car in 20/30/40 years? 50 years? I suppose time has a way of making every car a collectors car as it diminishes supply.
I love our cars - but that love sure as **** isn't going to cause delusion. And the idea that our cars won't be collectors cars shouldn't diminish the love or excitement anyone has for them. Beautiful cars. Just, imo, will not be a sought after collectors car.
Anyway, we can agree to disagree.
The dash....the dash will make it a collectors car. Hahaha.

It’s easy to disable the auto start/stop. Not sure what your issue is.
A) There's no point doing it, you save nothing
B) There are issues with lubrication, ask any (clever) car mechanic, especially the M177 can have problems, the "hot V" is called hot for a reason

I know it's easy to disable this feature via OBD.
For me is easier to buy an improved version of the same car that includes smarter start/stop and doesn't include an archaic dash cluster
