Well,

The snow has now melted and the car has survived its first week or so driving in the snow.

Picked it up November 9th or 10th - slapped some Alpins on it and it handled the whether incredible well. Only slight damage to the carbon fin on the front clip as you can see in the photos below. Hit some snow that had iced up a bit.

Wheels are dirty as all hell....almost 4000km on it now as well.

(Storing my brothers M2 while he is away as well).

Wow looks nice and love for a non-garage queen! Don't worry about that lip scar, it happens to all of us. This car is looooooow...

Looks great. That stripe actually doesn't bother me with that tone of silver and vents and other bits, thanx for the pics

I'll bet AMG would be so proud of you if you sent them that pic. I wouldn't be surprised if they sent you a new carbon fin at no charge.

Congrats on driving it in the winter! As to the exposed to the weather/road debris CF pieces: get them covered with high quality PPF would be my advice.

Yeah? Haha. I’ll see if I can dig up an email address for AMG.

Send then a photo of my daughter in the car seat as well!

Car is surpassing my expectations though. Really looking forward to getting it on the track sometime in the next few weeks. Will be wet but hoping the Alpins do the required job.

Here’s the dirtiest my GTC has been so far. 1000 miles. Also have Pilot Alpins, they’ve been great so far. I went with 305s on the rear.

I could have benefitted from having skinnier tires on.

I put 335 on the rear. Little too much like skis.

Ha, I send photos of my PRO on track to my dealer and head office all the time.

Probably shooting myself in the foot for the old warranty claims but its part of a plan anyway.

LOL. I am just bitter to anyone who lives in mild climates or year round paradise.
Edmonton is about the 4th worst place to live during winter after Siberia, Winnipeg and the South Pole.

I hear you! I was in Edmonton for 18months. Had a wrangler at the time. That was enough for me! No way I would have tried to roll the GT around in an Edmonton winter haha

I daily drove my GTC last winter here in Toronto...

I missed it too much so I’ll be picking up another one next week. I had a sneaking suspicion so I kept my Alpins... here is a pic from last winter...

Beautiful!

What made you decide to go back to the GT/S/C/R?

but for me the GTc was the most comfortable car I’ve ever owned and the noise it makes is intoxicating plus track days just go that much better in Race Mode with the traction control off...

Agreed man. Lots of Pros are sitting. A bump in HP would have helped move them along and helped warrant the bump up in price over the GTR. I’m more than happy with mine but will probably give it a tune for the hell of it.

not sure who to use but I’m happy it’s via OBD now... I’m also happy I have some time to get the car ready for track season... time to order titanium backing plates and brake fluid and SC2’s... if I could have gotten a 20% discount on the Pro then the wife tax would be heavy...😂

Here in Toronto we have 7 or so Corporate Stores. There are 16 GTC/R available there plus all the franchises have a few GTR’s (new 19’s) available plus about 8-10 pre owned 19’s mostly GTR’s and a few GTC’s (actually lots of GHM...) I know that come Feb any Lease/finance support will disappear due to the expired model year plus there a quite a bit of 20’s floating around too... any way I slice it I got a heck of a deal on a ton of car that you can only get by prying the keys out of my cold dead hands 😎😂

That is much different than where I live. I wanted to buy locally for the aftercare support and servicing - also the dealership here is owned by the same group that owns the local track.

They had zero GT anything when I ended up buying - certainly would have preferred the options you have and most likely wouldn’t have ended up ordering a Pro. Congrats again man. Hell of a car.
