Hello,
Encountered a strange behavior I have never seen in any car before I wonder if this is intended feature OR a melfunction of sort. May be information in manual I just have not seen it.
Any help would be welcomed..
So, the scenario is, drove this car couple hundred miles up highway, parked in rest area. sat in car for 10 min or so and stepped out. i may have locked the car while i sat in it dont recall.
And when i stapped out the driver's side parking lights were ON and did not go out. this behaviour repeated on few stops.
I believe you set the light dial switch to one of the parking lamps on the left? Just switched it back to Auto.
It's a European road etiquette when the car is parked at night where the street lights are less than ideal. Mostly to let other drivers or cyclists know there's a car parked ahead.
Right you are!! Thank you for reminding me.
I did come across that page but I suppose I was too confident to read about “a silly light switch” . I should know better .
Although in my, weak attempt, at defense I have to say all pages 30 to 130 evaporated from my mind by mile marker 25 on highway ...
thanks again
