3 weeks to fix the car!

3 weeks to fix the car!
I brought my car in to service for a check engine light and they tell me they will need the car for up to three weeks and need to drive the car home several times to get data for Germany to analyze! Has anyone heard of such a thing?

The6 just informed me that the data has been submitted to Germany and it will take 2 to 4 day to get a response on how to proceed. I am very disappointed in the process needed to fix a car.

I was just informed they are replacing 6 injectors! They also said it will take a week to finish! I’ve had the car for 14 months and it’s spent 5 weeks in service! By far the most unreliable MB I’ve ever had. They found the exhaust rattle after three tries and are replacing the muffler. I love the car but this is making me think twice about buying another Mercedes.
