looks like the previous owner has misplaced the lock key. where would I find the key code so I can order one from mcgard? I am also assuming that the key should be in the trunk area where the fix a flat kit is located?
Sorry, can't help you with the key code, but the MB Wheel Locks come in a small plastic case. The locks get installed at the VPC if they were ordered with the car and the bolts that get removed go in the case along with the key, so if you ever decide to remove the wheel locks, you still have the original bolts. The VPC puts the case in the trunk usually. I took mine out eventually, because they rattle around and I put the key inside of the tire kit bag, so it's always in the car where one would look for it naturally. There isn't a dedicated place for it to go. The previous owner of your car should have this case somewhere along with the original bolts and key inside.
