Hello

has anyone heard about ferrada wheels ?
I am interested to get the fr5 for my gts and I did a research but didn’t find reviews
are they good quality?
the only thing I found was that they have bad paint that might flake off but that doesn’t matter
as long as I can get them powder coated locally

They look like Rohanas. Same mold. They are not forged.

I don’t have them . When I checked them out, I looked up their rating with BBB. Their rating was an F. That told me to stay clear.

Also the fact they spam advertising all forums relentlessly shows how bad their marketing team must be~

It seems like most high quality forged wheels these days in 20ish inch sizes retail for around $2000 a wheel. The only "trick" I've found is finding someone that's a 3rd party dealer and they'll sell you the same wheel for 20% off vs buying straight from the manufacturer.

Forgeline makes great wheels. They're not very bling bling though. More focused on racing. A set of 20 inch Forgeline is around $7000 retail. You should be able to find them around $5500.

Ferrada wheels are ok. They can look fine on the car, but anyone that’s knows wheels will spot that it’s a cheap set on an expensive car.

My buddy is a dealer and can get you actual forged wheels from VS Forged for a really good price. Thousands less than what was quoted above. He can also hook you up some rotary forged wheels for even cheaper.

I’m considering getting the VS Forged VS18’s from him.

Another one for Signature Wheel. Forged, custom built to exact specs, light, strong, tons of options, and to your door in roughly 5-weeks.

I'm on their site, is that $4500 per wheel or for the set?

All their pricing listed per SET, depending on size. So if you are doing a staggered set up like stock, you need to do a little math.
Example:
19” is $4500 a set
20” is $5000 a set
so 2 19’s and 2 20’s would be $4750 for the set.

That number is for the set. I had their wheels on my S8 and loved them.

If you call a couple of places you can probably get a decent discount off of the website pricing. BTW: it took 4 weeks to get my wheels delivered to my door for my GTR after I placed the order.

Website says they sell direct to customers to avoid markup. That would be a great deal for quality wheels if you can get them even cheaper.

IIRC for the Forgelines I ordered a couple years ago, I was quoted $6800 by Forgeline direct and got them for $5200 from a dealer. I wonder what percentage of customers buy direct never knowing how much of a markup there is.

I strongly suggest that anyone interested in finding out more about Signature Wheels contact:

I’m thinking about picking up a 2015 S8 or 2016 S8+ after this pandemic crisis. Wow, your S8 looks really clean bro. Can you post more pics of it if you don’t mind.

Appreciate it. I put a lot of work into making each of my cars my own. It’ll probably be easier for you to just check out the pics on my Instagram @x96535.

I've been looking at VS FORGED wheels. Cheapest full set of forged wheels. I think like 2600 a set. There is a GT in Miami with a set that is wrapped to look like a state trooper.

+1 For the Signatures. Best to call, website does not offer much flexibility. I did get mine during a Black Friday sale and also opted for the knurled bead option $400 which was free at the time.
Retail was quoted $4500 + $400 for a 19/20 set. I got them for $3,325.00

I have a set of 20” VS01’s in brushed bronze being made. I threw some Vorsteiner’s on the car in the meantime. I like these so much, I may just turn around and sell the VS Forged at a discount once they’re done.
