Canadian guy

Hey guys. I recently purchased a 2019 gtr. When I initiate the race start, the engine revs at 5000rpm. I want to decrease the rpms, so it actually hooks up and the traction control systems doesnt have to limit power because it senses wheel spin. I've seen online, and read in the owners manual that rpms can be adjusted down by pulling the left/down paddle shift. I've tried clicking it repeatedly, pulling/holding and neither have any effect. It's a new purchase from auth MB dealer so I brought it there and the amg tech doesnt seem to have a clue. They said they've emailed amg in Germany and are awaiting response. Anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions? Thanks
