Wheel/Tire Preference - Width
Fellas -
Got a question. I am getting a set of track wheels made and am hung up on rear wheel/tire sizing.
Front will be 19x10 - will run R7s in P295/30ZR19 or P295/35ZR19 or TOYO R888Rs in 275/35R19 or 285/35ZR19
Rear I have two options.
20x12 or 19x11.5.
In the 20s the max I can go is: Toyo 325/30ZR20 or R7 P335/25ZR20
In the 19x11.5 I can go: Toyo 345/30ZR19 or R7 P345/30ZR19
Would you guys go 19 on all 4s for the extra rubber on the width or would you lean towards 20s? 19s will also be slightly lighter.

If you’ll sometimes drive the car around town with these wheels/tires, then for me 3/4 options would be a no go based on fender gap. That would leave the Toyo 325/30R20 as the only option out of your choices IMO.

If you’re only running the wheels/tires at the track, I’d go 19’s all around. 345’s would be awesome.

You will have more tyre choices by staying with the 19”s all around, so for a dedicated track wheel/tyre set up IF you aren’t driving the car to/from the track that is what I’d go with.
I personally went with a track set up with 19/20 in OEM sizes so that I could run the MSC2 ZPs as I wasn’t towing the car to the track.
