Sorry in advance for the 'newbie' question here which seems very basic...

Mobil website recommends 0W40 vs Mercedes recommended oil of 5W40. Any recommendations on which one to use??

I called the Service department of my dealership (Mercedes Vancouver) and they recommended Mobil 1 0W40 and said that would be the oil they'd be putting in on regular oil changes as well.
