Hood gap adjustment?

Does anyone know how to adjust the hood? Mine sits just a bit too low on one side. I guess you have to move the hood catches, which grab the U-shaped bars on the hood, rather than anything on the hood itself?

Try opening the hood and dropping it back down. Sorta slam it down.

if you drop it gently, one side catches before the other and it closes askew.

Ah! Good tip — I swear that gap wasn’t there before... so you are probably right. I always drop the hood, as you are supposed to. But I guess I’m not dropping it from a large enough height.

I just checked, thanks again for the tip @thecutter64 .

It is actually the fender panel that’s a bit too far, that’s what’s making the gap uneven between the fender and the hood. It’s only about a 1-1.5mm difference vs the other side, so not a big deal. It’s only off from around the wheel arch to where it meets the bumper. Does anyone know if the fender gap can be adjusted easily?

There's 4 height adjusters for the hood, one for each corner. The front two are ~3/4" rubber pads on threaded standoffs, spaced about the same width as the radiator. The rear two are located on the hood hinge arms, looks like small 10mm headed bolts. Hope this helps.

I think it looks good, and you shouldn't have to defend your choice.
