AC stopped blowing

2019 S63 cabriolet / 1968 280se cabriolet / 190e 2.5 cosworth / AMG GTC Roadster
AC stopped blowing
Had the ac system stop blowing / distributing today.
AC was still cold as you could feel a trickle through the vents, blower was working hard but weirdly nothing coming from vents and it sounded like it was straining as though blowing against blocked vents, didnt make any difference how i distributed the air (diffuse, focus etc) or where i directed it (feet, windscreen, face etc)
got back and turned car off for a few minutes, turned it back on and things ‘slowly’ came back to life, almost as if something was defrosting, its a roadster and we’d been running ac at max with roof down in 30° heat and doing tunnel blasts (like a child)
anyone else had this happen? All seems fine now but thought it worth a flag in case its something others have had and solved.

Same thing happened to me last week (after 1 year without any issues). Roof down, humid scorcher of a day, 2 hr trip. About halfway, ac just stopped. I turned it off and maybe 15 minutes later it was back up and fine. Figured something must have iced up due to humidity and taxing the system with the roof down. However, I must say that this was the first time I ever had any issues. The top-down experience in this roadster in almost any weather is just fantastic. Cold or hot, with the top down and windows up, you get a nice environmental cocoon unlike any other convertible I've ever driven.
