traffic sign assist inoperative
Hello
Yesterday i got this message when i start the car and it seems like this function is not working anymore .
i tried to restart the engine couple of times but without any changes .
The car is a brand new amg gtr imported from germany and has 150 miles on it , btw this function was working before .
Any help ?

Omg how such thing can happen to brand new car .
I hope if its an issue that can be fixed only with a software update or something , i dont want the dealer to open any part of the car .

I went to the dealer and they told me its a common problem for cars imported from europe to a different region ,
My question is this problem will poup everytime i start the car ? And is there any solution to fix it ? Because it seems like the dealer wont help so much .

Was this a European car that was privately imported? If so, since the traffic signs are different in both shape and MPH/KPH I am not surprised the function won't work and even less surprised that U.S. dealers are unhelpful. Is the speedo in KPH or MPH? Ditto the odometers - miles or kilometers?

I dont know if this option was auto deactivated because the navigation is also not working as there is not map for tunisia from mercedes .
Im confused because i had the same option on my 2015 amg gts and the sign assist was working perfectly here even without the maps avalaible , so this problem happen only on the new models or its a hardware problem ?

yes the car is imported from germany to tunisia , but what i dont understand is that the car was imported brand new and the first day this option was working like a charm but in the second day when i started the car this message pops-up and there is not was to delete it .

I have exactly the same problem on my GLE 43 AMG. Traffic Sign Assist worked well the 1st day after import and since then I have that annoying message on startup. Dealer says it’s because the car is in a different region.
There must be a work around I guess.
