Fuse Slots for Dash Cam Hardwiring

Hello Guys,

Can someone point out which fuses they tapped into for hardwiring of a dashcam. A diagram would be great. Thank you.

That’s my bad. I completely forgot to get a pic. I’ll set a calendar reminder to knock it out tomorrow and post on here.

Get the battery too

It’s the best solution. That way the vehicle electronics aren’t bothered. You turn off the car it switches to the external battery. Turn on the car it discharges the battery and keeps the camera on. Best solution. I’ve been using this setup now for 3 years no problems

This is the fuse box under the passenger side kick panel.

If you’re running the Magic Box or an equivalent, you’ll need to tap in two places. One is for constant on and one is for power only when the vehicle has power.

The top one is constant on. It’s the seventh fuse from the top on the left or the first one above the green relay. (Sorry the pic turned when loading. Top is to the left of the pic)

The second one is only powered on when the car is on. It is the third fuse from the bottom left. (Bottom is in the right side of this pic since it flipped on upload too)
