Rear Spoiler Fitment

Hi all,

I picked up my 2016 GTS on Friday (UK) and haven't stopped smiling since...awesome machine! I want to add an aftermarket rear spoiler and despite trawling through the forum I'm unclear how to disable the factory one.
Is it easy enough to remove (DIY) and do I need any additional wiring to disable /cancel error codes etc? Happy to donate/pay for information if required.

Thanks in advance
Eric

Careful with following all the steps in this install video. Not all rear spoilers require the whole motor assembly to come out. Especially if you have the Ronac plug disabling the active motor. I have seen another video online where a guy butchered his install and drilled additional holes into the new baseplate which he didn't need to.
The JSKracing spoiler and some other GTR replica spoilers can mount directly into the OEM base with the motor assembly intact. Just need to use the Ronac plug to disable the motor.

Here's a link to the butchering... He also has a big ding and crack in the spoiler which he points out and doesn't even seem to mind..??
