Diffuser + exhaust?
Reverse light is going to be a problem if you don't want a wing
I can't imagine anyone bothering on this one unless they fake the center exhaust or luck out and find one used (nothing that I could find) - it's just too expensive to source the parts.
I went with the 2020 OEM CF option and refresh exhaust tips - should be all set by the end of the week. MB of Covington came through once again.
I presume this is a new GTR diffuser (that, fortunately, is a straight swap on the GTC.
Refresh exhaust tips? Does this mean you have two existing exhausts on each side and a blank centre exhaust?
Or are you replacing the rear exhaust altogether?

No its not. The GTR exhaust is essentially the GTC exhaust with the 3rd port out the muffler - its very expensive, and exclusive in that its impossible to find used. I opted for an OEM GTC carbon 1 package diffuser. Since the exhaust tips are a different size/config on the 2020, I had to get those too.

WEll done RW! That is just aggressive enough to change the car, without it being over the top. If I hadn't committed to the OEM Aero pack getting redone in carbon overlay, I would be shouting 'take my money!'....
I see that car has a front camera too - is that an option for 2020, or comes with the standard gear? I had mine upgraded to avoid curbs (its worth every penny), but glad to see its part of the MB form factor now!
Does the exhaust tips refresh require change to the entire system or literally just the tips?

Honoring the title of this post i need to caveat that the GTC to GTC swap from old to new tips is only what you see outside, with the exception of brackets for the new tips. The GTC to GTR swap is more extensive in that the muffler has a third tip/exhaust. Parts for the GTC to GTR would be a lot more expensive too, but its pretty neat aero in the end where the GTC is just for lipstick value. My guess is that the GTC muffler could be modified for the third opening - the exhaust outside of that between the two, is the same size/shape.

I just bought the amg gtr rear diffuser , let's see how it goes...
Also did you take off the rear bumper do install the rear valance ?

If I were just swapping out the valance, I could have left the bumper on. The tips bracketry is not removable though without removing the bumper skin.
Great move on the GTR diffuser - hope it came with the carbon heat shields and tips (3x) too! Those are as expensive to grab as the valance itself! Also, almost every used version I have ever found tends to be incomplete and missing the lower part of the channelling - not sure why, but you will need them (2x) too if they are missing.
If you are looking, try the German version of EBay (.de) - I sourced a lot of used parts there from the US but because they weren't showing shipping to the US, it would filter the results from searches on the .com version!

I bought everything new from mb /dowtown L.A
Please take some pictures of removal and "how to" for the rear bumper removal. If you can please take pics and how to of the diffuser removal disassembly. I am sure it will be very helpful to a lot of us....Thanks!
