Hey fellas -

Anyone know these guys?

Received a roll cage with some really unsafe drill holes after waiting months for it.

Trying to get them to solution this as no one will install it for fear of the cage shearing right off due to how close the holes are drilled and the odd shape of them.

Studio RSR is currently ignoring all emails and phone calls on this topic.

Any thoughts on these holes?

That is some janky ***** right there.
Still waiting on my cage that I ordered back in June, because covid I am told...
What little meat is left on that clip is dangerous. Someone has reamed that hole out with a die grinder.
I am a structural engineer and I also own a large fabrication and construction company.
If I had the jig or dimensions for this bar, this would have been seriously a few hours to build.
Not sure why mine is going on 6+ months.
I opted for the chrome moly cage, if my welds look like that poo I will probably have my welder recap the welds.

I will see how mine turns out.
If it looks like you are going to get burned on this rather than sending yours back to the US, maybe once I look at mine and correct any issues I can help you out.
But I will have to determine the correct hole centers and whatnot.

Appreciate that man. I’m going to get Visa to reverse the charge on fraudulent merchandise.

Waiting on an address to ship it back too. Will keep the board updates.

Unfortunately I think you are right. Fairly reputable shop though. I'm not worried about getting my money back, VISA will look after that; however, I do want to ensure that this type of behaviour gets out so no one else has to walk this path.

Probably need to take out some 'full page' Google Ads advertising how bad these are to deal with. The product they sent is widely unsafe as a roll cage.

WOW sorry to see what they sent you. I can tell you the bar I got from them was not like that. Looks like someone used the wrong plate and tried a ridiculous band aid.

Thanks man. You and me both.

John has been avoiding calls and refuses to return emails all week.

Going to have to make a special in person trip next time I’m in California for work.

So sorry to hear about the cage that does look unsafe!

Below is what the stock mounting points look like just for reference.

Go on...haha. Where did you get those? Are you wise enough to have sources an oem cage out of Europe?

I did source it from Europe last year. It was a pain in the *** but what I was trying to reference is how unsafe the RSR looks.

There is a member here that has an RSR cage on his GTR I forgot where i saw it (maybe the Hard Track Use thread) He might be able to chime in on his RSR

If I am not successful finding an OEM model - I will be looking into this one: https://www.tikt.de/en/performance-p...t-for-amg-gt-r

The brake ducts (front and back) are fantastic.

Nice dodge.

How is the GT500? Completely off topic

I had a GT350R for quite awhile that saw a lot of track time. Great car.

I had hoped that RSR dissected an OEM cage or that the limited mounting options netted a similar result as OEM. Apparently not so.
