I’m basically wondering how to perform a real “cold start” on my GTS every time?
I always press the start button twice and then twist the mode bottom to SPORT + before I start up the engine. However, I’m just not getting that loud cold start every time. (Maybe 1 time out of 5 start-ups). The start-ups are loud kind randomly between warm and cold engine temperature.
Unfortunately for those of us with pre-2020+ cars we don't get the "Emotion Start", so warm startups are usually very lackluster. The only way you're going to overcome this issue with a pre-2020 car, that I'm aware of, is the ASR or Renntech EVM. Prior to installing the EVM I actually dreaded starting the car up at meets/shows, as the neutered startup when warm was rather embarrassing when a bunch of folks whip out their phones to record you starting up, expecting something a bit more on the angry/epic side of things.
Here's a comparison of Stock vs EVM (ASR/Renntech module) cold start and warm start that I recently put together.

If you open it in Chrome, it should auto translate for you. Personally I would go with the first option I boxed, which is Last State mode, so it always starts the car in the mode you last selected. And either Type 1, or 2x Type 1( if you want a backup remote).
Also, you can program your garage opener buttons in the GT to the buttons on your fob.
